Homeowners more buoyant in housing market

homeownersbuyers-293385Homeowners are more buoyant about entering the housing market than in 2012 despite the market uncertainty caused by the EU results, according to Lloyds Bank.  The buyers want to move along the housing ladder than they currently are. First time buyers are still more in a brighter side, on comparing year on year.

Andrew Mason, Lloyds Bank mortgage products director, says: “There’s still an insight among a large number of homeowners that their aspiring home seems far off and they are not moving up the housing ladder quickly, although this perception has been gradually improving over the last few years. Those who are further up the property ladder appear to be more satisfied with their progression. Despite that, first time buyers are in a slightly better position to move than they were a year ago and are the group most likely to be on the move.”
